Every gap is tied to a real statute, from EPF damages under Section 14B and interest under Section 7Q to ESI coverage, ECR late filing, professional tax per state and the muster roll and overtime register duties, with the specific fix for each. The rupee figure is a conservative modelled range, not a demand. Built for factory, field and shift teams.
FAQs
When is PF registration mandatory in India?
EPF coverage is mandatory once an establishment employs 20 or more persons, with some notified sectors covered at 10. Unpaid contributions attract damages under Section 14B (up to 25 percent a year) and interest under Section 7Q (12 percent a year).
When does ESI apply?
ESI applies to establishments with 10 or more employees (20 in a few states) and covers employees earning up to 21,000 a month, at 0.75 percent employee plus 3.25 percent employer.
Is the rupee exposure a penalty I owe?
No. It is a conservative modelled estimate to show where you are exposed, not a demand. Confirm every figure against your own payroll records and your CA before acting.
