Indian HRM: Terms of Service

Plain-language summary of the contract between you (the customer) and Indian HRM. The full legal text is on the rendered page. If anything in the legal version contradicts this summary, the legal version controls. We've kept the language simple here because most HR teams shouldn't need a lawyer to understand what they're signing up for.

Account & Acceptable Use

You're responsible for keeping your admin passwords secure and for what your team does inside your tenant. The platform is for legitimate workforce management. Don't use it to run illegal payroll, store data you don't have a right to store, or attempt to break into other tenants. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that misuse the system.

Subscription & Billing

Plans are per-employee per-month, billed annually unless agreed otherwise. The 3-month free trial converts to a paid plan only if you actively choose to continue. Invoices are issued in INR with applicable GST. Late payment beyond 30 days may pause access until cleared. You can cancel before renewal and keep access until the end of the paid term.

Data Ownership

Your data is yours. Employee records, payroll history, attendance logs, documents uploaded, all of it. You can export anything at any time through the dashboard. If you cancel, we keep your data accessible for 90 days after termination, then delete it on request, then permanently. We never use your data to train models or sell to third parties.

Service Availability

We target 99.5% uptime on Foundation and Growth plans. Enterprise plans get a written SLA with credit terms for prolonged outages. Scheduled maintenance happens outside Indian business hours where possible and is announced in advance.

Liability

We carry liability up to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the incident. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost customers) arising from outages or bugs. Statutory deductions calculated by the system are based on the configuration you provided and the laws as we understand them; final responsibility for filings lies with you.

Termination

You can cancel from the billing page or by emailing support. We may terminate for non-payment after a 30-day notice period, or for material breach of these terms (illegal use, security violations) with reasonable notice. On termination you get 90 days to export data before deletion.

Changes to These Terms

If we update these terms materially (pricing structure, data handling, liability), we email all admin users at least 30 days before the change takes effect. You can cancel without penalty if you don't agree.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes are subject to courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, unless your contract specifies otherwise.
